Q: What is this?
A: This is a project to rebuild Fedora Extras for Aurora SPARC Linux.
Q: Can i contribute?
A: Yes you can, if you have the bandwidth and can host a mirror contact me. if you want to see some package in extras then they need to get in upstream at Fedora Project all i am doing is rebuilding the srpms from fedora extras. so if its in upstream for Fedora Core 3 then it will get into aurora extras.
Q: How can I use the packages?
A: import the key that signed the packages RPM-GPG-KEY-aurora-extras. Then add to your /etc/yum.conf file
[Extras]
baseurl=http://aurora.fedoramirror.net/pub/aurora/extras/2.0/sparc/
gpgcheck=1
This will ensure that all packages get checked for my GPG key when being installed
